Booking a Session
When a client first calls I will usually take minimal information; name, phone number, where they found my details etc. and arrange a convenient time for an appointment. I usually work on weekdays between 12 noon and 6 pm, but can also accommodate evening or weekend sessions if necessary. Sessions generally last about 45 minutes to an hour. I begin by taking a brief medical history, discussing the client's reasons for attending and what they hope to gain from treatment. This highlights any problem areas before I begin.
The client lies on their side as each ear is candled, remaining fully clothed throughout the treatment. An aromatherapy face and neck massage is given while the candle is burning. It is a relaxing and painless process. For clients who are not able to lie comfortably on the couch there is the option of sitting with the head placed on the couch.
“Jane's treatment room is an oasis of calm and tranquillity. My ears feel much clearer after treatment, but I didn't expected it to be such an enjoyable experience. I often fall asleep during my treatment and always leave feeling totally relaxed.”
